A few years ago on an art trip to Maine, I serendipitously met Andrew Wyeth whose work I admire so much. As we talked I began to understand that his work is also to record the lives and places that are just simple common things that were an integral part of him and his life. We also had other things to share...His father was the renowned NC Wyeth and his son...the remarkable artist Jamie Wyeth. My father was artist and my daughter Susan Patton is a talented artist also. It was truly an honor and wonderful memory to spend time with him and be encouraged by an icon!

Roger Dale Brown was at Dot Courson Fine Art in April 2008. His last workshop here sold out within a week, and the next workshop will probably fill up quickly as well!
